Hello, my name is Francesco, I was born in Ecuador and I was born in 1998. I attended a german school back in Ecuador because my father loved the idea of me living and studying in Germany. Right after finishing school in 2016 I moved to Berlin and I have to admit that I really love the city. In my free time I love to travel, spend time with friends, meet new people and I am always trying to find new cool places in the city, especially parks or nature related spots.
How did you come to Juvigo?
I was working as a sales assistant in a retail store for 4 years already, and I decided that it was time to develop my professional career in a company where I feel I can learn a lot and use the knowledge learned in university. I found the job ad and it seemed that the company culture and the job would be a perfect fit for me, and so far seems like I was right.
What subject are you studying?
I am doing my bachelor in business management, just need to write my thesis and I will be finished.
Do holiday camps, youth trips and language trips have a special meaning to you?
Yes, I believe that is a really important experience in everyone’s childhood. It’s a good opportunity to learn about yourself, get to know different people, cultures and most importantly nowadays, to disconnect the phone and connect more with people and nature.
What exactly are your tasks at Juvigo?
I am responsible for the Spanish market. At the beginning I had to put the juvigo.es website online, which includes a lot of different tasks like keyword research, writing content, translating content and more. At the moment my focus is acquiring partners and working closely with a colleague that is in charge of the content for the spanish platform.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
I wouldn’t say I have a „typical working day“ and I think that is something really positive. There are always different tasks and focuses depending on what is needed at the moment on our spanish platform. Sometimes I am calling the potential partners, other times I am checking that everything in the website is looking good and organized and so on.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Having a great and international team, having direct communication and feedback from the people on top of the company and I really enjoy the fact that I was given a lot of responsibilities since day one, it gives me a feeling of being trusted and that motivates me to work.
What do you enjoy least about your work?
I am not a fan of the content part of the website but at the moment I have someone who helps me with the content related tasks. So I have to say that I am enjoying all the tasks that I am doing at the moment.
What do you wish for Juvigo and especially for the international platforms?
I really believe in the work we do, so it would be amazing to see the company growing more and being able to help with that. Also want to see more international platforms and have a bigger and more multicultural team.

Totally! It is a great place to work and to learn, I have always been heard and given the chance to explore some of my interests within the company. The team as I mentioned is great and everyone is always willing to help, including me.
